About the Job
Male, white, 60s SCENE: You’re recovering from cardiac surgery in a hospital bed. Your grandson is in the room, but he’s kind of nervous about all the tubes, wires and beeping machines. You help him get comfortable enough to come over by talking about what some of the machines are doing. When he finally warms up and gives you a hug, you’re so grateful he’s there.
